OUR WORLD

WE LIVE IN A BROKEN WORLD. God created the world. We can see the beauty and the complexity of his creation all around us. Sin entered the world and made it dark and broken. But there is hope...

OUR HOPE

JESUS CAME TO GIVE US HOPE! God demonstrated His love for us when He sent His Son into the world to serve as an example of love and humility, offering Himself as the sacrifice for the sins of all people. Because of this sacrifice, we can be saved by the grace of God, our Creator. This salvation means that we have hope, knowing that this world is broken, but something better is waiting for those that choose to follow Him.

OUR IDENTITY

As Christians, we are saved by the grace and mercy of God (Ephesians 2:4-8). An emerging faith leads us to see our sinfulness and the need to repent (John 8:24, Acts 3:19). Faith is expressed in our confession of Jesus as the Son of God and in our being baptized into Christ - where the blood of Jesus washes away our sins (Matthew 10:32, Acts 22:16, Romans 6:1-4, Galatians 3:26-27, 1 Peter 3:21). Our sins are washed away in baptism as we put away our old self and are raised to walk a new life in Christ.

As baptized believers, our identity is found in Christ. He loves us so much and understands our hardships here on earth. Because of his sacrifice and the promise of heaven, this new life in Christ gives us the blessings hope and peace. With grateful hearts, we commit ourselves to serve Him and to be more like Him each day (Titus 2:11-14).

OUR MISSION

Empower
Growth

WE ARE CALLED TO "BE the GOOD"! As we read the New Testament, we see the love and humility of Christ. In response to God's love and the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, we are called to live lives that bring honor and glory to Him. In our example, if our deeds, and in all we say, we are called to show Jesus to those around us. We are called to "Be the Good" and lead others to Him so they can know the love and hope that is found in our wonderful Savior!
